Influenster: YSL Black Opium Glitter
Is that... an INFLUENSTER post?!
Yes friends, we are back on that Influenster wave this year! I am so thrilled to be receiving some amazing products from Influenster again and cannot wait to share them with you all! Below, you will see my thoughts and review of this product and if you are interested in signing up, please see how it works as well as my sign-up link!
Today's Product: YSL Black Opium Glitter
If you have and love the original YSL Black Opium, then you are going to LOVE this Glitter version. Not only is the packaging and bottle itself so stunning, but what is inside loves up to its hype. The Glitter line has extra notes of fluffy sweetness to really soften the muskiness we typically associate with the OG Black Opium scent. This perfume smells absolutely delicious and feminine. The brand states describe it as "fluffy, sweet and sexy with a sought-after marshmallow musk accord". I think this scent is perfect for a date night out. I personally feel that people tend to love gourmand scents, so if you yourself like those, you should definitely give this a go! Thank you again to YSL x Influenster!
How it works:
For those of you who are not familiar Influenster is an amazing app that partners with top brands to send out their latest products for its members to review and share their unbiased opinions. Now I have been a member since about 2016, but these past few years I have not been able to do any surveys to obtain any boxes. I am unsure if the program has changed but the app itself seems to be a bit different than what I was accustomed to before. Previously, we would get an email asking to fill out a survey and then they would let you know if a separate email if something would be on its way to you via mail. I am assuming that based on your responses, if it did not seem like a fit, you would not be receiving that product. Recently I started using the app again and thought I would leave reviews on a few beauty products that I already own and suddenly was getting notifications to "claim my product". I was able to score a few different items this way! So, it seems that the survey method is no longer in use, and I am assuming based on one's profile and interests, they just put out programs that are available and up for grabs. I was able to claim two different perfumes, home slippers, and even some tents for my outdoorsy sister! It is an amazing way to try out new products and step out your comfort zone!
